Pezula Hotel

The client’s brief was for an 80 bedroom hotel, above a five star rating, designed to complement the surrounding environment and take advantage of the spectacular views in all directions.

A double volume, with two huge sandstone pillars, frames the view of the pond, pool and view to the north. Two large stone-clad fireplaces flank the informal seating area. A conference facility with two rooms, a business centre, lounge with projecting wooden decks for outdoor relaxation and a small library are located on the first floor.

Pezula Resort Hotel and Spa was awarded two gold awards for the Most Environmentally Aware Development in the World as well as the Best Development in South Africa.
